Newton’s NBH 98 Burley

The newest hybrid burley developed by NEWTON SEED, INC. was released in 1998. It has medium resistance to both races of blackshank, along with resistance to black root rot and tobacco mosaic virus.  Even with it’s early maturity it can produce very high yields.  Unlike most varieties with such resistance, NBH 98 provides a much darker leaf at stripping time with very good tips. Along with good weight and color, NBH 98 should increase your profit for another year.
