Its upright growth habits permit more effective applications of fungicides for containment of blue mold and other leaf diseases to produce very high yields of reddish brown high quality leaf. High resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and wild fire, and medium resistance to black root-rot make this variety a profitable choice for an increasing number of burley producers.
